We at Mud Monkey Studio offer a few workshops where you can learn to build your own pottery pieces. We conduct one day workshops, amongst others where you can experience clay either through hand building techniques or on the potters’ wheel.
About us
Hey there, I’m Rupal! I used to be an architect, but now I’m happily immersed in the wonderful world of pottery. In 2021, I kick-started Mud Monkey Studio right after finishing my architecture degree during the tough lockdown phase. It was a time when we all felt that universal pit in our stomachs—the unsettling feeling that life was slipping away right before our eyes. The realization that life is fleeting and nothing is permanent hit me like a ton of bricks.
So, I followed my heart and made the switch to learning and creating pottery. Soon I found myself at a farm studio in the middle of nowhere, guided by the amazing Sandeep Manchekar. It was a life-altering experience that led me to where I am now, happily crafting delightfully quirky clayware with all my passion and soul.
